Ok, so this isn't beig news or anything, but my little sister was really distressed about the casting for Avatar, and so she asked me to help do up a blog entry for her site. If we could give her some support, that'd be good......and some advice would help to. If there's not enough info, to much .....if it's difficult to understand, etc.
Thanks.

As some of you wisely predicted, Viacom/Paramount Pictures has purchased a commercial spot in the first or second quarter of the Super Bowl to advertise The Last Airbender.

For those of you guys not from the US or into sports much, the Super Bowl is one of the most watched television events of the year so many Americans will see this trailer. Thoughts?

Blue Corn Comics

Newspaper Rock
Rob Schmidt

Take a look at these commentaries that were posted on Newspaper Rock way back when the controversy for TLA first started! We need to support more on-line outlets like these. I have signed up for their newsletter and it has been full of interesting articles about how Native Americans and other races are portrayed in the media.

Hi guys,

We've just launched a new Facebook page. It'll be a lot more streamlined than the facebook group, gives us more control over the content people post, and will be much more professionally presentable for media coverage.

Please, please join and add us as a favorite! Increasing numbers on our Facebook page readership will drastically improve our web presence and help others find us:

Thanks everyone,

How did this year go by so fast :\

I'm going to get my resolution list done now... resolutions for the comic, that is!

- improve at perspective/ interesting interior shots
- try to claw my way to one page of buffer for this or next chapter
- attract new readers by force of will alone
- get back to 2x a week updates once summer hits (contingent on surviving until summer)
- remember to draw lamps
- pimp some more awesome comics (once I find them)
- brainstorm merch that will be attractive and cool and affordable
- try to finish the comic before I die*

Anyone else have any comics resolutions? art resolutions? plain old regular life-improvement ones?

*more of a century-long resolution
