Shades of Gorey, eh. This was a trial plate for that relief-etched ghost.
Happy New Year! Hope you had a good one. I lounged around at my sister's, reading a lite-research book about women breaking into academia in England, watching Lord of the Rings, watching Friends, and then missing my train back north and going to see HOLMES instead. No wait was it called SHERLOCK. The Sherlock Holmes movie, in which Holmes and Watson are the CUTEST COUPLE EVER. Even though they aren't meant to be a couple. The lady who played Irene Adler was good, as was her role, but she was too young! I don't think Robert Downey's ex-girlfriend/lover/whatever from way back when would really be 22. One of my sister's Doll's femme fatale personae was called "Irene Adler" - it wasn't until a couple of years later when I read whichever Holmes story it is that features her that I realised the name had not been an invention of my sister's. I think that was the only Holmes story I ever read; all the ones I know were read to me by my Dad, to great effect (I couldn't sleep after hearing him wail "Oh Alice! Alice! It was the speckled band!"), or seen as TV productions.
Fan art year in review: I DON'T THINK I DID ANY FAN ART. Huh. Maybe increasing publicity on the next couple of movies will galvanise me into producing something.
